HDPE SINGLE MAG CARRIER MOLD WITH TULSTER MRD BLOCKING

These HDPE magazine molds are designed to be used with the Tulster MRD (magazine retention device).

 Single Taco style magazine carrier with FOMI blocking and a .4" blocking for the MRD to sit in.  The bottom portion of the carrier is closed.  Click here to order the MRD's.

Each mold is designed to make the manufacturing process simple and fast.  These are designed to be used with membraneless vacuum forming, but can also work with a membrane former.

*The idea behind the design is that once the shell is pressed there will be an outline for you to follow with your bandsaw.  

*This will allow you to trim the shell just slightly oversized with no need for tracing or measuring.  

*Once you have trimmed on the bandsaw, take the shell to the drill and you will drill out all the indicator holes that are premarked in the shell.  

*You will then attach the shell to the router trim jig with a standard .375" or .5" 8-32 screw ( same screws most people use on holsters).  

*Run your router jig along the bearing on your router bit.  

*After that it's just a matter of folding, buffing and assembly. 

The double stack 9/40 option is designed to work on virtually all double stack 9/40 magazines as well as G43 and many others using the MRD retention adjustment.

The double stack .45 option will fit virtually any double stack .45 magazine.

The single stack option will work on virtually all single stack magazines.  Has been tested with the following: 1911, Shield .45, Shield 9/40, Xds 9 and .45, Sig 938

• Single Size mold will make One Magazine carrier per press.
• Double Size mold will make Two Magazine Carriers per press (Single x2).
• Specifically designed to be used with the (MRD) sold on the site.
• This mold makes a Single (or single x2) Taco style magazine carrier
• Each mold is designed with FOMI blocking and our .4" blocking ensures a snug and complete seat for the MRD.
• The bottom portion of the carrier is closed.
• Constructed of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
• Designed to be used with membrane-less vacuum forming, but can also work with a membrane former.
• Adding the Router Trim Jig option is recommended to help deliver consistent results, reduce time, and the margin of error significantly. 
• The double stack 9/40 option is designed to work on virtually all double stack 9/40 magazines as well as G43 and many others using the MRD retention adjustment.
• The single stack option will work on virtually all single stack magazines. Has been tested with the following:
• 1911, Shield .45, Shield 9/40, XDs 9 and .45, Sig 938
• Simply select the type of magazine you want a mold for above in the Carrier Style section.
